ok just pulled my other 55c apart. recapped this on a few years ogo. the cap i used are 22md. at 450v. also .33mfd. at 630v. radio plays great so i will copy what i did. thak you.

hello. after recapping this radio and replaceing the powertransformer, found that the 80 tube was dead shorted. the tunning caps were open and the 45 tubes were junk. the two 27 tubes were also very poor on the emission test.ended up useing the 22mfd 450 volt electrolytics and two.15mfd caps in the condenser pack.radio plays great with reception all the way across the dial. thank you warren for the info. paul
