EICO model 232 VTVM
5/1/2012 8:14:51 PMMitch
Hello everyone,

In a multiple purchase i got this VTVM with the analyser i wanted. I have no need for this VTVM as I have one that I use already.

I powered this VTVM up and it works. It is original including the 50 year old battery. The DC + and - are about 1/2 volt off, the AC needs calibration, almost 30 % off. The calibration pots do adjust. I did not bother with the Ohms, the battery is rusted.

The meter zeros and works, the wafers need to be cleaned. AC leakage is suppected. All of the capacitors should be changed.

I do not sell radios or instruments on this site nor ebay. I am offering this VTVM to anyone who would like it for free except my shipping costs. If you want it just send me my shipping costs after you receive it. My postal code is 27253.

email posted.

Thank you for being a part of NA.

Hello Mitch:

This is a little strange and I have no Idea if you will get this or when it was posted or if you still have it. I bought one to rebuild to use to tune finals on a tube type ham rig. The transformer was fried. If you still have this one I would be tickled to get it. I would then also have quite a spare parts supply for it. I don't mind replacing the caps, since I have already done that for this one. Let me know.

Thanks
Leonard
