APPLICATION

Sylvania type 1S5 is a diode pentode of the miniature construction, especially designed for detector-audio service in compact, light weight, portable equipment. The high operating efficiency allows the tube to be use with extremely low B supply voltages. The internal construction of Type 1S5 is similar to that of Sylvania Type 1LD5.
