If you bought it because you like it- nothing more need be said.
If you bought it for investment, well... not many wood radios bring high dollar values, with some noteworthy exceptions in the cathederals, and the bigger names such as Zenith, Philco, etc.
It should be about a 1941 vintage. The types of tubes used in that radio could confirm if this is close.
As for value, without a specific reference, and not knowing condition and if it is an AM/SW, or just AM, I can only estimate based on your description that 30 to 40 dollars is ballpark in the area where I am.
If you paid more than that, don't concern yourself over that detail if you like the looks of the radio. That is after all, the reason for having the collection.
