You may have found the info you're looking for by now but you really made a fabulous deal! The 1476 was one of the original 4 Walter Teague designs unveiled by Sparton in September of 1935. Built around the 1166 chassis (11 tubes in the chassis) with an added three tube amplifier and three speakers, it is impressive. A Sparton catalog reprint that is circulating has it incorrectly labeled as the Nocturne but it is actually the 1476 Deluxe Triolian. I have a brochure from 1936 which describes it nicely. The gold trim is actual gold plating. Not many were sold due to a very high price. Not as valuable as a Nocturne but nearly as rare with the Teague pedigree. Nice pickup!
