What's the difference between a Mopar 804 and a Mopar 808?

Posted by Dave Froehlich on 04/01/2012 11:59

Hello Again All,
After searching for several days, I have finally found my SAMS AR-2. I can see that the 804 and 808 are very similar. Even though the B+ is higher on the 804, if the voltage across the cathode resistors on the 6V6s are taken into account on both sets, the 808 has higher voltages on the 6V6s, but not by much.
The 804 draws more current for some reason too.
Dave
:Hello All,
: My SAMS AR-2 has gone into the twilight zone again. Could someone please look in theirs to tell me the differences between the two?

:Thanks,
