| ::Terry, ::Been to Hell and back, survived the trip with a lot of gray hair and wrinkles, but at 70+ don't care what those other guys say either. I do wood, radios or ANYTHING else that drops into my lap, and still learning. GOD BLESS AMERICA. :: ::marv :: ::IPAddress: ***.96.71.162 Geez, can't you people be nice! I've seen more critical comments on this site than any other, and that's saying something. Thanks again for your suggestion Marv. After some consideration, and advice from my landlord, I've decided to glue a wooden disk around the hole. The knob is very deeply knurled, and I think will grip it successfully. The hard part, of course, will be to line it up so that it clears the speaker and fits through the hole. And a further note about being grumpy- try living with incredible pain every day, and the doctor saying, after major surgery and radiation therapy, "Gee, I'm sorry, but we didn't get it all". That kind of puts things in perspective. |
