| :Some folks like them a lot. I never got much utility from my Eico. Found the audio test and speaker substitution function handy at times. Found RF tracing proved too difficult without detuning the RF stages. Hope you got the probes with it. : :Richard Yes, the test probe for RF and Audio (Switched with a slide switch in the probe body) is wired in. There are other terminals (2 marked Spkr and 3 marked B+, CT, and P.) Norm, thanks for the manual download info. I did download it but haven't had time to read the instructions. They look complete and comprehensive, so I'm confident all the information I will need to operate it will be there. It's ironic that such a piece of gear should show up just as my interest in rebuilding some of the old tube gear is peaking! Also, I just found this site a week or so back. Now I load it up everyday to read what others are writing. My next project will be an old (1951) Arvin 540T. I don't find the manual or schematic on BAMA or here. Any tips? Bill W7WEL |
