Well, K-Y might work on a radio, but... I use a product call Break-Free. It's a non-gumming lubricant used commonly on firearms. I use it sparingly on tuner mechnanisms, variable capacitor bearing points, volume and tone control shafts. Whatever lubricant you use, go easy with it since it will collect dirt and dust over time.Its generally best to remove dirt, old dry lubricant, and misc. crud before putting any new lube on radio parts. :Greetings, what do you experts use to lubricate the internal moving parts of a radio? which parts should and can be lubricated?. :Thank you, :Vinny |
