| :I have an old Emerson with a crakked bakelite case. : :The crack runs from the left back to front along the corner and then extends down the front on the left corner. I've visited several web sites that recommend using bondo. : :Is this good repair material? Any other ideas? :I'd like to add pigment to whatever I use to match the color so no painting would be required. : :Thanks, : :Mike M. I've used 2 part epoxy with good sucess. You might be able to find off white. I mix and spread into the crack, then use masking tape to hold it in place until it sets. Nick |
