:hi. the radio is in a home made wood cabinet. it isnt in the metal cabinet. i was wondering if i should put a metel cover over the tubes. a piece of thin sheet metal maybe? the model forty does the same thing untill i put the metal lid on. and i didnt replce parts in the A.K. 40. thank you
