Sir Steve . . . . . .
Just sort of initially looked at your pics and saw that the schema was too small to work with so I blew it up to viewing size and made a few initial insertions and we can clarify from there, as we progress.
Also thought that you had a broken tube socket, but it was just the way that the pictires clustered all up together.
Aside:
Next time . . if you will put a couple of < br >'s between the separate URL's, that will line them up vertically.
But I had to put 2 sets 3 dummy spaces in that above format to keep it from activating . . the end result needs to be all jammed together with no spaces.
Just read my naked text in a post reply dialogue box and you can see several examples.
PLUS you left off the required little > "tailer",after jpg on the URL.
End aside:
I am not yet fully sure of the tie ins of the batteries except the B+.
As you had drawn the first variocoupler tuner you had the unit shorted out on the secondary . . . confirm ?
On the 1st RF stage the 1st grid is floating of any biasing.
Also the Plate is not receiving any B+ unless one power connection is assigned as ***
The AQUA and ORANGE dots are signifying of that wiring path seeming to not being correct ?
All of the lines with the GREEN dots seem to be correct.
*** IF I were to assign a sub B+ connection . . . as is being designated . . . that will get a plate supply voltage to the plate of the RF stage as you can see by following the BLUE dotted path..
BUT . . as is shown . . . the output coupling capacitor from the 2nd RF variocoupler would be dumping into a low Z B+ supply line !
The FUSCIA path seems to work as being a common line buss.
Now, could you reconfirm the lines that are not marked as well as the AQUA and ORANGE dotted paths ?
Then we can alter the preliminary working shama to confirm . . . . .
