Having Trouble Finding Model Number For Emerson

Posted by Johnny on 04/26/2010 21:46

:It could have been put in as a replacement. It's just an old set that I grabbed and I dedicated it to being a parts set. It's audio transformer did the job for the RCA. Little thing sounds great.

: I noticed your request on ARF. Could the 12SJ7 have been a replacement for 12SK7? If an IF tube should be 12SK7 when a radio has AVC.
:
: If that's the case this is a popular tube lineup.

::I use Grillecloth.com's "Radio Finder Tube List" frequently to find model numbers. Today I'm getting no hits for an Emerson bakelite table model 5 tuber AC/DC set. Lineup is real basic... 12SA7, 12SJ7, 12SQ7, 50L6 and 35Z5. Anyone know if the Radio Finder Tube List site is broken or maybe I'm just doing something wrong?
::
::Thanks,
::Johnny
