| Geo, Thats an AC rating not DCWV. The DCWV would be somewhat less. It is not the peak to peak as stated by Warren. A 1100 VRMS cap would withstand approx. 1550 V peak to peak. I've found these high voltage caps typically on vibrator supplies and on the audio output tube plates. marv :Hi, picked up a Canadian radio and have a couple .047 caps in it.
