Cannot see last post--says no page 1964 RCA Radio

:::EDD...I ran the test with no results; no sound was produced...The VCR was tested for sound from a tape and then I hooked a single RCA lead (red) from sound output of VCR to volume control with cap soldered to ring and one to inner pin (radio off). No sound through speakers.

:The radio should be turned ON. It's not going to amplify anything from the VRC in the off position.

::Stupid is as stupid does...after turning on, I did get static through the radio speakers.
