:Just a long shot. Did you install the audio interstage transformer the right way. It may have a 3:1 or 4:1 ratio and if it is installed backwards it may give reduced volume
:You didn't mention whether or not you checked the antenna and RF coils..... an open coil could lead to low volume - start with the antenna coil (common culprit) and then check the RF's. The 50MMF caps are probably trimmers and usually are NOT the problem. You might try using a long-wire antenna as a "signal" generator and use an insulated lead-in wire to touch around the leads of the antenna coil. If the volume gets dramatically louder - you may have a bad coil.......
