Just a shielded cable with alligator clips at the ends. :: ::http://www.yoreparo.com/foros/files/heathkit_sg8.jpg :: ::Signal tracers might have used just a straight meter probe, or an alligator clip. You can also make a demodulator probe, like the old Heathkit 337. Images available if you use Google. :: ::Rich :: :: :::Could you email me a copy also. ::: :::Thanks, ::: :::george:::I have a pdf of a book on building probes. Very informative... Send be your email address and I'll send it to you. :::::: :::::: :::::::I just got this signal generator/tracer and have no probes. I replaced electrolytic and paper caps. The unit seems to be working as all tubes and one light are on. ::::::: :::::::Does anyone know about this unit and where to get/make a probe? A schematic or manual would also be great if anyone has one and can copy it for me. ::::::: :::::::Any help would be appreciated. ::::::: :::::::Thanks, ::::::: :::::::SteveB ::::::: :::::::i also just picked up a 153 signal gen/tracer. curious if $15 was a good deal. also i would be interested in the probe schms. :::: ::::thanks, ::::jason :::::: ::::: ::::: :::: :::: ::: ::: :: :: : :
