| Signal generators didn't usually have "probes." Just a shielded cable with alligator clips at the ends. http://www.yoreparo.com/foros/files/heathkit_sg8.jpg Signal tracers might have used just a straight meter probe, or an alligator clip. You can also make a demodulator probe, like the old Heathkit 337. Images available if you use Google. Rich :Could you email me a copy also. : :Thanks, : :george:::I have a pdf of a book on building probes. Very informative... The unit seems to be working as all tubes and one light are on. ::::: :::::Does anyone know about this unit and where to get/make a probe? A schematic or manual would also be great if anyone has one and can copy it for me. ::::: :::::Any help would be appreciated. ::::: :::::Thanks, ::::: :::::SteveB ::::: :::::i also just picked up a 153 signal gen/tracer. curious if $15 was a good deal. also i would be interested in the probe schms. :: ::thanks, ::jason :::: ::: ::: :: :: : :
