Bob....Might I be able to impose on you to also email me whatever you have on the 048 ?? I just acquired one, & would VERY much like to return it to active service. I'm a little in the dark how I can power it right now, since the original batteries aren't available any longer.

:I have a schematic for the Philco 048 oscillator. It's in Ghirardi's Modern Radio Servicing, 1935 edition. I'll scan it and e-mail it to you.
