| I am working on a Zenith 8s359. As per your suggestion, I replaced the electrolytic caps and all the paper caps. Still got the 60 Hz hum. One of my reading sources suggested that I detach the 6.3V center tap on the transformer with the set turned on. I did that, and the hum stopped. So if the my sleuthing is on track. I need to resolve the isse of "heater voltage hum". Do you have any suggestions on the next step (the reading didn't suggest how to fix the problem, only identify it). Thanks in advance. Paul |
