 Sir Dave: Hows about getting the unit operational in the manual mode and then making the exclusion of that specific circuitry, via the consultation of the accompanying schema. LATEST ADDENDA. . . . Here is a replay of the schematic for you to reference to find that ONE intact end of the wires connection point. When you think that you have found the other wire ends point of connection, gently use some wet rosin saturated solder wick to absorb all of the solder from that junction and the broken wire remnant should then magically appear for confirmation.
