| Another car radio question please...the radio in my 1977 Chevy truck is difficult to turn on. By that, I mean you have to turn it on and off several times to get it to come on. Also, when the radio is on, you can turn off the ignition switch, but when you turn the ignition switch back on, the radio does not come on. For a normal old tube radio, I'd just suspect a gummed up pot and spray it good with contact cleaner. I tried that with this radio to no avail. Could someone point me to what the problem might be and how to go about solving it? Radio seems to do fine once I get it "started." Thanks much!!! |
