| Dear Mmakazoo thank you for your reply.No it's not a cobra turntable i'm familiar with those models. This turntable is much older with almost no plastic part on it.The only detail i can tell you is that it change records with 2 moving metal holders one on upper right corner and the other on lower left corner of platform.If you want to i can send you some photos to see it.Otherwise i will follow your advise and replace the cartidge with a ceramic one.
